It’s been sometime since I have had Spinal Surgery with Dr. Haroun. My first impression of him was that he was kind and compassionate, yet let you know all the pro’s and con’s of spinal fusion surgery with rods and screws. I have degenerative disc disease and I wasn’t ready to have surgery in my late 40’s, but that is what had to happen. It got to the point where I couldn’t feel my legs and feet and I was tripping and falling all the time.
My consult with Dr. Haroun gave me a better idea what I was facing and a better outlook and what I thought I was going to get at that consult. Dr. Haroun had to do a 2 disc fusion with rods and screws. It was a long and tedious process to heal and learn to walk straight up again after all those years of walking like a little old lady.
I have to thank Dr. Haroun and his office staff for being the kindest and most wonderful people and helping make my surgery and recovery the most wonderful one (even if it was back surgery).
