FREQUENTLY Asked Questions (FAQ)

  Q. Should I have an MRI or CT scan done before my first appointment?
  A. It is not required that you have an MRI/CT completed prior to your appointment, however, Dr. Haroun will be better able to diagnose and treat your condition if you are able to have this completed and you can bring it with you for your first appointment.

  Q. Does Dr. Haroun treat pediatric patients?
  A. No, Dr. Haroun generally treats patients 18 years and older.

  Q. Does Dr. Haroun have any other locations?
  A. We currently have locations in Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland.

  Q. "I was involved in a Workmans Compensations accident. Can I make an appointment to see Dr. Haroun?"
  A. Dr. Haroun DOES treat patients involved in Workmans Compensation Accidents. However, before your first appointment can be made, we will need to have approval from your Workmans Compensation Insurance carrier. There should be a specific individual at the insurance company who handles your claim, typically called an "Adjuster". We would need to hear from this individual, with approval for your visit, before making this appointment. ***Please note: We WILL NOT accept authorizations from your attorney. Authorization must come in either written or verbal form directly from the insurance company.***

  Q. "I was involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident. Can I make an appointment to see Dr. Haroun?"
  A. Dr. Haroun DOES treat patients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA’s). We will be happy to bill your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance for your appointment. However, you must also have a back-up, personal insurance, that we participate with. This will be used if your PIP benefits have been exhausted.
